Tottenham Hotspur have announced that season ticket and matchday ticket prices for the 2025/26 season will remain unchanged, offering a significant boost to supporters amidst ongoing economic challenges. The decision, revealed on the clubâs official website on March 12, comes after months of consultation with the Tottenham Hotspur Supportersâ Trust (THST) and the Fan Advisory Board (FAB), reflecting a commitment to maintaining affordability for fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The freeze applies to both season tickets and individual matchday tickets for the menâs and womenâs teams, ensuring that prices will stay at the same levels as the current 2024/25 season. This move follows a controversial 6% increase in season ticket prices for the 2024/25 campaignâthe first hike in five yearsâwhich had sparked unrest among fans. The decision to hold prices steady for 2025/26 has been widely welcomed as a response to supporter feedback and broader campaigns for fair ticketing in football.
âWe have conducted a formal consultation process with our Fan Advisory Board and Tottenham Hotspur Supportersâ Trust that has been ongoing since September 2024,â the club stated. âWe can confirm that there will be no increase on either Season Ticket or match ticket pricesâacross both our Menâs and Womenâs teamsâfor the 2025/26 season.â
Season ticket renewals for the menâs team will open at 10am on Monday, March 17, and remain available until 5pm on Tuesday, May 27, after the conclusion of the current season. The club will once again partner with V12 Finance to offer a 10-month payment plan, allowing supporters to spread the cost of their season tickets. Specific details regarding Tottenham Hotspur Womenâs season tickets are yet to be released.
The announcement also addresses previous concerns over senior concessions. After significant pushback from fans and the THSTâs âSave Our Seniorsâ campaign, the club softened its stance on limiting new senior concession season tickets. Last year, Tottenham had planned to phase out new senior discounts from 2025/26, but following negotiations, they have agreed to maintain âongoing availability of new Senior Concession Season Tickets for future seasons within the parameters of the current balance of tickets.â
THST expressed cautious optimism in response to the news. âAfter extensive discussions with the Club, weâre pleased to see key improvements for fans such as a freeze on season ticket prices,â their statement read. âWe believe the overall outcome represents a good result for supporters.â The trust had been vocal in opposing any further price increases, citing the cost-of-living crisis and the need to keep football accessible.
The decision aligns with a growing trend among Premier League clubs, with Brentford and Liverpool also recently announcing price freezes for the 2025/26 season. It comes amid pressure from the Football Supportersâ Association (FSA), whose âStop Exploiting Loyaltyâ campaign has urged clubs to prioritize affordability over profit. The FSA has welcomed Tottenhamâs move, seeing it as a step toward addressing fan concerns across the league.
On the pitch, Tottenham are enjoying a resurgence under manager Ange Postecoglou, with recent performances lifting the mood around the club. Off the field, this ticketing decision signals an effort to rebuild trust with a fanbase that has at times felt alienated by financial policies under chairman Daniel Levy. While chants against Levy persist at matches, the price freeze may temper some of the discontent as the club heads into the final stretch of the 2024/25 season.
