Her high school dominance earned her accolades such as Michigan Miss Basketball and selections to the McDonald’s All-American Game and Jordan Brand Classic. Rated a five-star recruit by ESPN, Jackson chose Mississippi State University, where she played from 2019 to 2022. As a freshman, she averaged 15.1 points and 5.1 rebounds, earning second-team All-SEC and SEC All-Freshman honors.

Her sophomore and junior seasons saw continued growth, with a career-high 40 points in a game against McNeese State in 2021. Transferring to Tennessee for her final two college seasons, Jackson elevated her game, averaging 19.6 points and 7 rebounds per game while shooting 54.8% from the field. In 2024, she was selected as the fourth overall pick by the Los Angeles Sparks in the WNBA Draft. In her rookie season, she started 35 of 40 games, averaging 13.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, showcasing her ability to adapt to the professional level.
