Max Verstappen, the four-time Formula 1 World Champion, is not just a titan on the racetrack but also a connoisseur of luxury off it. With an estimated net worth of $200 million, fueled by his Red Bull contract, performance bonuses, and endorsements, Verstappen has curated an enviable collection of luxury vehicles and private jets that reflect his status as one of the highest-paid athletes in the world.

Max Verstappen’s luxury car collection

Verstappen’s passion for speed extends beyond the F1 circuit into his personal garage, where he houses an impressive lineup of high-performance luxury vehicles. Valued at over $5 million, his collection showcases his taste for cutting-edge engineering, exclusivity, and style.

I) Aston Martin Valkyrie ($3.5 Million)

The crown jewel of Verstappen’s collection, the Aston Martin Valkyrie is a hypercar born from a collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Advanced Technologies, with input from legendary F1 designer Adrian Newey. Priced at $3.5 million, only 150 units of this track-focused beast were produced, making it a rare gem. Powered by a 6.5-liter V12 hybrid engine delivering over 1,160 horsepower, the Valkyrie can hit speeds exceeding 217 mph (350 km/h). Verstappen’s ownership of this car caused a stir in August 2023 when he was filmed seemingly speeding in it during the F1 summer break, highlighting his love for pushing limits even off the track.

II) Porsche 911 GT3 RS ($223,000)

A staple in any car enthusiast’s collection, Verstappen’s Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a track-ready masterpiece. With a 4.0-liter flat-six engine producing 520 horsepower, it boasts a top speed of 193 mph (310 km/h) and a 0-60 mph time of just 3 seconds. Its lightweight construction and aerodynamic design mirror the precision Verstappen demands in his racing career, blending luxury with performance seamlessly.

III) Ferrari Monza SP2 ($1.8 Million)

Verstappen’s Ferrari Monza SP2 is a nod to classic racing heritage with modern flair. This limited-edition, roofless speedster from Ferrari’s Icona series features a 6.5-liter V12 engine pumping out 810 horsepower, capable of reaching 186 mph (300 km/h). With only 499 units made, its exclusivity aligns with Verstappen’s penchant for rare, high-end machines.

IV) Honda NSX Type R (gifted)

In 2022, Honda, a key partner of Red Bull Racing, gifted Verstappen an NSX Type R. This hybrid supercar, with a twin-turbo V6 and three electric motors, delivers 573 horsepower and a top speed of 191 mph (307 km/h). While its exact value varies, it’s estimated at around $170,000—a modest but meaningful addition to his collection, reflecting his ties to the brand that powers his F1 success.

V) Aston Martin DB11 AMR ($250,000)

For a more refined driving experience, Verstappen owns the Aston Martin DB11 AMR. Its 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 churns out 630 horsepower, offering a balance of luxury and performance with a top speed of 208 mph (335 km/h). This grand tourer is perfect for his Monaco lifestyle, where style matters as much as speed.

Verstappen’s garage also includes a Red Bull-liveried Porsche 911 Turbo S ($207,000), a Mercedes-Benz C63 S AMG ($80,000), and several other performance cars, bringing his total to an estimated 11 vehicles. Living in Monaco since 2015, a hub for F1 drivers due to its tax benefits and proximity to the sport’s heart, Verstappen enjoys these cars on the winding roads of the French Riviera.

Max Verstappen’s private jets

When it comes to air travel, Verstappen doesn’t compromise on luxury or convenience. His demanding F1 schedule—spanning races across five continents—necessitates private aviation, and he’s elevated it to an art form with two standout jets in his portfolio: the Dassault Falcon 900EX and the newly acquired Dassault Falcon 8X.

I) Dassault Falcon 900EX (PH-DTF)

Purchased in 2020 from Virgin Group founder Richard Branson for $15 million, the Dassault Falcon 900EX was Verstappen’s first foray into private jet ownership. Registered as PH-DTF (a playful nod to “Down to Fly” and his Dutch heritage), this tri-engine jet became iconic for its matte black and orange livery, emblazoned with Verstappen’s MV33 logo.

  • Specifications: Powered by three Honeywell TFE731-60 engines, it boasts a range of 4,500 nautical miles (8,334 km) and a top speed of 554 mph (893 km/h).
  • Interior: The spacious cabin accommodates 12-14 passengers with plush leather seating, a fully stocked bar, a luxury bathroom with shower, and a divan that converts into a full-size bed.
  • Usage: Verstappen famously used this jet to shuttle fellow F1 drivers like Daniel Ricciardo, Lando Norris, and Carlos Sainz, earning it a reputation as the “F1 taxi.” Its annual operating costs hover around $1-2 million, covering maintenance, fuel, and crew wages.
  • Status: This jet is up for sale through Dassault Aviation, signaling Verstappen’s shift to a more advanced model.

II) Dassault Falcon 8X (PH-UTL)

In early 2025, Verstappen upgraded to the Dassault Falcon 8X, a $58 million trijet that redefines long-range luxury travel. Registered as PH-UTL (“Unleash The Lion”), it retains his signature black-and-orange color scheme and reflects his evolving status as a global superstar.

  • Specifications: With a range of 6,450 nautical miles (11,945 km), the Falcon 8X can fly nonstop from Monaco to Melbourne or Las Vegas to Abu Dhabi—ideal for F1’s grueling calendar. Its three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307D engines offer a top speed of 575 mph (925 km/h) and 15% better fuel efficiency than the 900EX.
  • Interior: The cabin, customizable for up to 14 passengers, features noise-canceling technology, advanced entertainment systems, and a galley for gourmet dining. Its sleek design and cutting-edge avionics ensure comfort and safety on long-haul flights.
  • Notable moments: The jet debuted with a test flight in February 2025, prompting Dutch air traffic controllers to quip, “Is this as fast as his car?” The pilot’s response: “A little bit faster.” Verstappen arrived in Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix on March 11, 2025, aboard this jet, turning heads with its $79 million AUD valuation in local media.

Why private jets?

For Verstappen, private jets are more than a status symbol—they’re a necessity. With over 20 races annually, plus testing, sponsor events, and personal travel, commercial flights can’t match the flexibility and time savings of private aviation. The Falcon 8X, for instance, cuts hours off transcontinental trips, allowing him to maximize rest and preparation. Posts on X from fans and aviation enthusiasts often track his jets’ movements, like the 9,000-mile journey from Las Vegas to Qatar in 21 hours after the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
